Taskforce Overview
The Taskforce is a 10-year old performance-oriented consortium of industry, academic and governmental organizations collaborating to define the effects of Intangible Assets - Intellectual Property, Intellectual Capital and Human Capital on the United States' technological and economic growth at the corporate, national and international levels of competitive performance that are essential to America's freedom and prosperity.
Economic opportunity requires robust innovation that transforms knowledge to net worth and a capability to realize the American dream in every entrepreneur's heart; and, to project economic influence in geo-political situations that support our national security.
Some of the notable participants include: UN, Department of Economic & Social Affairs, U.S. Departments of Commerce and Defense, SEC, NASA, National Technology Transfer Center, States of California and North Carolina, MIT, Stanford, SMU, GWU, Texas A&M, Kozmetsky Foundation, Texas Instruments, GE, Ford, Cisco Systems, Freddie Mac, American Express, IBM, Motorola, AT&T, SAIC, Telcordia Technologies, Kodak and approximately some 74 other operations.
